Homeschool is growing in the Tri City area. And if you homeschool, you are welcome to be a part of the local Christian, homeschool support group, Tri-City Home Educators (TCHE). If you are a homeschool pro or are thinking about homeschooling for the first time, TCHE can help you get plugged in and stay encouraged throughout the year. Although TCHE is a Christian organization, it is not connected to any particular denomination. TCHE now has member families from the Tri-City and surrounding areas.

The membership fee is only $10, and with that comes a four-color monthly newsletter, and the opportunity to participate in all that TCHE has to offer including classes, clubs, field trips, picnics, fundraisers, strategy game nights, great monthly academic and family events scheduled throughout the year, email support loop, and the opportunity to enroll in Monday co-op classes. Co-op classes are for all ages and will be held at a local church in the tri-city area, and will include Spanish, Oklahoma History,PE, possibly Art & Band, and others. You will also develop great friendships with other local homeschool families.

CHICKASHA — Julie Bohannon is presented with a gift from Mike Nealeigh, Vice President for University Advancement at USAO, during her farewell reception Thursday in the Regents room of the Student Center. Bohannon resigned from her position as director of Alumni Development.
